Our Story
The idea for Tinibikini® came about when our founder struggled to find cute, supportive swimsuits that fit her body type. After endless frustrating shopping trips, she decided to take matters into her own hands. In 2015, Tinibikini® Swimwear was born out of a desire to provide beautiful, flattering swimwear for real women’s bodies.
We started out small, offering just a few bikini separates and one-piece suits. But as word spread about our inclusive sizing, quality fabrics, and on-trend styles, demand grew quickly. We expanded our collection to include options ranging from classic solids to bold prints, drapey monokinis to sporty swim tops – all designed to make women feel confident and comfortable at the beach or pool.

Our Design Process
Creating a swimsuit that makes women feel beautiful is no easy feat. That’s why our design process focuses on crafting styles that are both fashion-forward and meticulously constructed to suit a variety of figures.
Our designers begin by researching the latest trends, patterns, colors and silhouettes gaining traction in the fashion world. They then start sketching swimsuits that blend these on-trend elements with our signature figure-flattering and supportive design features.
Each swimsuit goes through a rigorous vetting process, where multiple designers evaluate the sketches on criteria like:
- Universal flattery: Will it be a good fit for women with different body types?
- Support and comfort: Does it provide ample bust support and tummy control? Are the materials soft, stretchy and durable?
- Style: Does it have cute, on-trend details like cut-outs, hardware, or prints?
- Fit for real life: Will women feel confident wearing it while swimming, tanning, or playing beach volleyball?
Only the swimsuits that pass this comprehensive design review make it into production. From there, we meticulously perfect every detail, from choosing soft, cling-resistant linings to reinforced seams that won’t come undone. Our goal is to create high-quality, fashionable swimwear made to last for years of beach vacations, pool days, and lakeside lounging.

The fabric is what transforms a bikini or swimsuit from just a design into a wearable, functional piece. That’s why we are extremely selective about the textiles we use. Our fabrics team thoroughly researches, tests and vets new materials from ethical suppliers around the world.
